4+1 MBA Florida Poly Agreement
Accelerate your graduate degree!This program provides all eligible undergraduate students at Florida Polytechnic University the opportunity to complete the Florida Southern College MBA program in one academic year, after receiving a bachelor's degree from Florida Polytechnic University (FPU). The FPU students can choose from the Online MBA or the Saturday-Hybrid MBA, with the admission criteria being the same for either program.

Streamlined Admission Process
Florida Poly incoming freshmen and transfers will be awarded automatic admission to the Florida Southern MBA program, as described above, provided they meet the following conditions:
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00+ throughout their undergraduate degree program
- Remain in good academic standing, making satisfactory academic progress, and enroll full-time each term
- Remain in good standing with the Florida Poly student code of conduct
Continuing Florida Poly students can apply for the program in the Fall of their junior year and can be accepted as an early admission to the MBA program. Admitted 4+1 MBA students will be allowed to complete 9 credit hours of graduate work prior to the completion of their undergraduate degree at Florida Polytechnic University.

FPU students course options include the core courses BUS 6360, BUS 6460, BUS 6560, and MBA electives with a BUS prefix. This schedule illustrates an accelerated schedule for completing the MBA in less than a year, but FPU students can also choose to complete the MBA degree at their own pace.
Program Costs
Admitted undergraduate students will be allowed to complete a maximum of 9 credit hours of graduate work. These credits will count toward their MBA degree requirements. For questions regarding the FPU/¹û¶³´«Ã½ MBA cost per credit hour, please contact your admission counselor. Graduate courses taken after the student receives their undergraduate degree will be billed at the current MBA per credit hour rate.

Are Online courses asynchronous?
Yes. Assignments are due weekly and there is no requirement to login at specific time frames.
At what time do Hybrid courses meet?
Weekday Hybrid courses meet from 6:00 PM to 8:45 PM.
Saturday Hybrid courses meet on three different time blocks: 9:00 to 11:45 AM, 12:45 to 3:30 PM, and 3:45 to 6:30 PM.
Can I change delivery methods at any point of the program?
Yes. Our Flex Saturday-hybrid delivery allows you to take both Saturday-hybrid and Online courses. If you started with our fully Online delivery, you are able to switch to our Flex Saturday-hybrid delivery.
How many classes can I take each 7-week term?
We recommend students take one course each term, but students can take up to two courses per term if they want an accelerated progression. We encourage you to reach out to us to discuss your preferred timeline.
Can the GRE/GMAT requirement be waived?
To be considered for a GRE/GMAT waiver, you must hold a 3.00+ cumulative GPA or higher and meet one of the following criteria:
- Applicant is a graduate of an AACSB-accredited business school with a 3.25+ cumulative GPA
- Applicant is a graduate of Florida Southern College with a 3.25+ cumulative GPA
- Applicant is a graduate of Florida Polytechnic University with a 3.25+ cumulative GPA
- Applicant is a graduate of a regionally accredited institution with a 3.30+ cumulative GPA
- Applicant currently holds a master’s or terminal degree (JD, MD, PhD, etc.)
- Applicant currently holds an active CPA license
- Applicant is a lifetime Beta Gamma Sigma member
- Applicant has a minimum of 3 years of qualifying managerial experience
